2013 Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Collaboration Fund Competition
PEFC is the world’s largest forest certification system. Their main aim is the Improvement of the Forest Management throughout the world, emphasizing the role of Humans in one of the most precious resources system. Through the competitive small grants program, PEFC International wishes to extend its support to encourage locally relevant advancements in the sustainable management of forests. PEFC has currently more than CHF 150,000/-(Swiss Franc) worth of projects running in various countries across the world.
PEFC is now accepting applications for the 2013 Collaboration Fund, as announced by Sarah Price, Head of Projects & Development at PEFC International.
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) looks to help organizations involved in Improving Forest Management & Improving Forest Certification all over the world. As in the years before the organization is looking for projects those are innovative in nature and cover the PEFC’s Mission of sustainable Forest Management.
The last date for the submission of projects is 9th March, 2013. Projects with a Maximum Contribution of CHF 40,000/- (Swiss Franc, approximately Rs 23 Lakhs), having a minimum of 35% of additional funding within the overall project budget from another source and a project period of up to two years will be considered. All PEFC member organizations and Non-Profit Organizations from around the world working for the mission of Improvement of Forest Management are eligible for the grant.
